Yesterday several organizations throughout Winston County received a combined total of $120,000 for community projects. RC&D (Resource Conservation and Development) grants support local communities by funding projects that promote environmental conservation, economic development, and sustainable use of natural resources. These grants help improve infrastructure, support agricultural initiatives, and enhance quality of life through community-driven projects.

Winston County examples include lifesaving medical equipment, fire hoses, high school nursing education resources, historic courthouse clock restoration, weather radios, police dash cams, high school courtyard beautification, band instruments, library media, and more. #Our67 Northwest Alabama RC&D Council
