GOOD NEWS : On Wednesday we celebrated the addition of Defense Munitions Proving Ground (DMPG), which purchased approximately 1,900 acres of land in Townley, Alabama for Department of Defense (DoD) related research and development (R&D) and munitions testing. The parent company, Global Technical Systems (GTS), has been established in Huntsville as well as multiple states for many years. Their work is honorable and enhances national security. Companies that partner with the Department of Defense create high-quality jobs and drive economic growth in Alabama. They also foster technological innovation that benefits all various industries statewide.
