Yesterday Cullman Regional Airport-Folsom Field hosted a groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate two new projects: a hangar that will house Martin Aviation and a second building that will serve as the Wallace State Community College Aviation Workforce Training Center.
The Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC), through the Alabama Department of Community and Economic Affairs (ADECA), provided a $1MM grant to help fund a 13,200 sq ft Maintenance and Repair Operation hangar. Cullman Regional Airport also unveiled future plans for a new apron to accommodate larger aircraft.
